I do not fight the devil and his demons, my army (angels) do that for me. I ask for help in a single sentence and I wait for my help to come (patience).
The devil and God cannot fight. God is too big for that. The devil is not powerful at all. His power is in his lies and trickery. Period. He can only lie to you or trick you into fighting battles that have already been won and into focusing you on the wrong agenda as opposed to God's. So we spend our time praying against things, binding things and we spend LOTS of time on this. I am sure that there is place and a time for that but not as the main preoccupation. Our preoccupation should be with how to influence the earth for Jesus. I do not mind attending an overnight meeting strategizing how we as the church can influence the earth with heavenly principles and way of life.
When you think about some of the ways in which we pray, it looks like we almost do it in unbelief anyway, because if you are praying to bind poverty today, and tomorrow you are praying the same prayer and day after and so on and so forth, well what's with the repetition? Is it that we think God did not hear us or we are thinking God might not answer us?
Here is an example, if you go to an ATM machine to get money, the money is yours, its in your bank account and you know its there. You stand there and pray, and bind, and you cast out demons. Look, no matter how long you do it or how loud you do it or even how repetitive you are, you will not get money out of that ATM machine, I can guarantee that. You need to know how the machine works and then work with it. You are equipped with a card, a password and you know your numbers. That is the only way to get your money.
Use prayer for the right things, if you're not getting answers, maybe prayer is not what you need. Most of the time the answer has something to do with us changing how we are doing things. Jesus taught us about the things that we should be praying about.
Read the Lord's prayer, the answer is right there.
