Hosea 4:6 my people perish because of the lack of knowledge.
Man's greatest enemy is not sin nor satan. Sin is the rebellion against the know will of God. Our problem is ..........the devil has us so focused on fixing the consequences of sin without paying any attention to the rebellion. As long as you are in rebellion you cannot get rid of the consequences no matter how hard you try. As sure as the sun rises. It's like trying to catch water in a bucket with holes, you can't keep filing it, thats not your problem, you need to fix the holes. The way to fix rebellion is to find your self in prayer, committing yourself to carrying out your duty to influence earth for heaven. The more you focus on the kingdom, the more the things that would usually coz you to react in an "ungodly way" just won't bother you anymore, because you are focused on the bigger picture.
Sin. Sin was dealt with way before man even came to be. The bible in Revelations says…”...the lamb who was slain before the creation of the earth. Sin did not take God by surprise......just incase you were wondering. God prepaid for it before the foundation of earth.
Satan. Well, lets just say that he did not stand a chance to begin with. See, satan is a jobless cherub. He was fired by his boss because he tried to undermine the boss. The reason he doesn't like you is because he wanted to be you, I can appreciate that. When he sees you, he sees the very thing he cannot be. I get it. I also know that satan is powerless. Literally. Therefore, you will not catch me fighting satan. That would be an unfair match, he has no power and I have a lot of power. No.......I do not fight satan, he is already defeated.
Our enemy is ignorance. Yes, that. Ignorance has wreaked havoc and destruction for man like you would not believe! God puts it best..”my people perish because of lack of knowledge.” God is light (knowledge) and satan is darkness (ignorance). Light here has nothing to do with illumination, darkness does not mean that satan hangs out in dark alleys, though I am pretty sure he does. Satan will always attack you in your area of ignorance. If you're experiencing darkness in an area of your life, that's your area of ignorance. You don't need prayer, you need knowledge, not of this world, but of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Cheers!
